The dream God put within you demands something: a look inside.
It won’t come alive until you do.
And until you face some important questions:
- What am I willing to do without to make room for what is to become?
- What challenges or obstacles will be big enough to stop me?
- What are the faith lessons I am learning and how can I better listen to the voice of the Master?
Those are just a start. Many more like them be unearthed within you to keep the fire of motivation burning. As the writer Stuart Aken puts it, “Inspiration fires you up; motivation keeps you burning.”
It’s one thing to have a dream, it’s altogether a different matter to build it. That requires the spade work of reflection.
What other questions have you found helpful in your own reflective spade work?
