Have you ever been fired? Let go? Downsized? If so, you probably know the crushing defeat that you feel when you hear those words. But to hear Jay Payleitner tell it, getting fired or restructured just meant moving on to a new adventure — the adventure God was calling him closer to. 

A theatre major turned copier salesman turned radio producer, Jay was fired two days after his second son was born. A twisty-turvy path led him to a career in radio and then onto one in writing. And that’s how he’s learned that it was all part of God’s plan, God’s dare, really, to take the next bold step of faith. 

Jay’s latest book ask people to do just that: to step out in faith, take the Jesus Dare, and accept Christ as their savior. And if you’ve already done that, his book invites us into a deeper walk with God, living out that faith that Jesus has already drawn us into.
