We’re created to be ambitious. From the very beginning God had in mind had great things for us to do. After all, we’re made in His image and He did some pretty great things Himself. If we’re to imitate Him, we are to aspire to doing great things as well. But there’s a rub. Our ambition has been frustrated by the fall. And now we wrestle with a desire for greatness that’s been perverted.
