How do you measure the success of your day? By how much you got done? How much fun you had? Whether you met an interesting person?
How about by what you gave away? Or rather, how much of yourself you gave away?
What if, at the dinner table, you went deeper than asking, “How was your day?” and instead asked, “How did you help someone today?”
If you knew you were going to be asked that question, perhaps with little ears listening in, would it sharpen your awareness of opportunities to help someone today?
Who can use your help most today?
