I often hear a common complaint among young adults (and sometimes older adults too): I don’t know what I’m good at.
It’s the wrong focus and belies a mistaken belief that we are made to do what comes naturally (without effort). It takes time to get good at something. Instead, our focus should be turned toward discovering our sustaining interests and build our skills around that.
In our latest episode of Reinventure Me podcast, my co-host Armin Assadi and I offer Ten (zany) ideas to ignite discovery of your interests. We are joined by college career counselor, Tali Sanderson, who is on her own journey of personal interest discovery.
If you find yourself in need of some fresh ideas to discover your own interests, give our show a listen on the web or in iTunes or on Stitcher Radio.
What other ideas would you add to our list?
